Body of Missing 15-Year-Old Girl Found

Employees of the Gegharkunik Regional Directorate of Police, along with rescuers and local residents from ten villages in the Geghamasar enlarged community, led by community head Hakob Avetyan, continued the search efforts for the missing 15-year-old girl on September 10.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamsyan, the child's body was recently discovered on the hillside area between the village of Kutakan and the nearby village of Kakhakn. Currently, a team from the Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department of the Armenian Investigative Committee is arriving at the scene.

Earlier, it was reported that search operations for the 15-year-old girl from the village of Kutakan had resumed on September 8 at 08:30.
