Body of Contract Soldier Found Hanging in Barn

A contract soldier has committed suicide in one of the villages of Tavush Province; his body was found hanging in a barn. This information was confirmed in a conversation with NEWS.am by the spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Artsrun Hovhannisyan.

Earlier, Armeniasputnik.am reported that the soldier was discovered by his brother, who found him hanging from the ceiling with a rope. He immediately called neighbors, who then contacted emergency services to inform the authorities about the incident.

Law enforcement agencies are investigating the reasons behind this extreme step.
