Large Sums of Money Wasted Due to Ruben Hayrapetyan's Abuses, Police Say
The former acting rector of the State Economic University of Armenia, Ruben Hayrapetyan, is suspected of abusing his official powers.
According to operational data received by the Department of Internal Security, the former rector misused his official authority by violating the Labor Code and the university's charter. He allegedly granted unauthorized annual paid leave, one-time monetary rewards, and allowances to his close associates, resulting in the waste of large sums of money. The extent of the damages is currently being determined. Preliminary materials are being prepared, as reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.
