Classes Resume Tomorrow in Ashotzk and Bavra: Harutyunyan
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia, Arayik Harutyunyan, addressed the statement made by the Governor of Shirak Province regarding the temporary closure of schools in Ashotzk.
“I just spoke with the Governor of Shirak, Tigran Petrosyan. Classes will resume tomorrow in Ashotzk and Bavra,” Harutyunyan noted. He explained that there were no classes today due to yesterday's earthquake, as relevant services needed to verify if there were any damaged structures.
The governor conveyed that the buildings are safe. While the regional administration and local communities remain vigilant regarding this matter, citizens are encouraged to contact their local municipality or the regional governor's office in case of any issues with buildings.
