Price Increase in the Automotive Market
In recent days, discussions have intensified regarding the price increase in Armenia's secondary automotive market.
According to circulating reports, the increase ranges from 5% to 15%, depending on the vehicle prices.
The rise is attributed to the fact that, starting January 1, 2020, the customs clearance fees for cars imported from third countries will increase.
Reportedly, car importers have already begun raising vehicle prices, as importing and selling cars in Armenia will become unprofitable in a few months.
It is also said that the observed price increase is linked to the Georgian automotive market.
According to information, the prices of vehicles purchased from Georgia have also increased, thereby impacting the rise in car prices in Armenia.
