Names of 9 Stars Who Didn't Pay Taxes and Received Notices from the SRC Revealed
It has become known to "Haykakan Jamak" who are the representatives of show business that received a letter from the State Revenue Committee (SRC) regarding income declarations. Among the 9 show business figures who received a notice from the SRC are singers Sona Shahgeldyan, Iveta Mukuchyan, Silva Hakobyan, and Lilit Hovhannisyan, as well as singers Tatan, Andre, and Arman Hovhannisyan. These individuals did not pay any taxes to the state in 2018 and, despite numerous reminders from the SRC, did not appear or declare their income.
It is noteworthy that some of the mentioned individuals had repeatedly assured "Haykakan Jamak" in interviews that they were willing to enter the legal framework and pay taxes legally. Recall that on September 5, SRC Chairman Davit Ananyan did not name representatives of the show business but mentioned that there had been reminders to submit declarations. However, after receiving no response, the SRC sent a final letter to the show business representatives. According to Ananyan, if this letter also goes unanswered, the SRC will carry out a preliminary assessment and hand it over to investigators to determine the liability they may face.
