Armenian Citizen Involved in Islamic State Terror Group
An Armenian citizen has been sentenced in the Russian Federation for involving others in the activities of the Islamic State terrorist group. The Moscow Regional Military Court found Ashot Grigoryan guilty.
Grigoryan is accused of engaging a minor in the activities of the banned Islamic State terrorist organization in Russia.
The court has imposed a final sentence of 14 years of imprisonment, which he will serve mostly in a strict regime penal facility.
