Accident in Artashat Involving Police Toyota and Opel Astra

Today, September 9, an accident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 11:15 AM, on August 23 street in Artashat city, a collision took place between a Toyota Corolla patrol car of the traffic police with license plate 683 II 01 and an Opel Astra driven by 34-year-old Sargis Karapetyan, with license plate 35 VV 501.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, a minor female passenger in the Opel sustained injuries and was transported to the Artashat medical center, from where she was transferred to the “St. Astvatsamayr” medical center in Yerevan.

Traffic police officers from the second battalion's first company, led by battalion commander Vahan Evinian and company commander Karapet Harutyunyan, arrived at the scene.
