2.5-Year-Old Child Who Fell from 6th Floor Regains Consciousness and Recognizes Parents at St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center
A 2.5-year-old boy who fell from the 6th floor of a building at 32 Tumanyan Street in Yerevan has regained consciousness and recognized his parents. The child was transferred to the intensive care unit of St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center on September 5 in an unconscious state.
Georg Derdzhan, the spokesperson for St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center, stated that the child sustained multiple injuries, including a circular fracture of the cranial bones, cerebral contusion, spinal fractures, and pelvic bone fractures. “Two days ago, the child began to breathe spontaneously. His condition remains serious, but stable. He is under strict medical supervision at St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center,” he said.
In the last two days, we have received numerous calls offering assistance to this family. I want to convey that the parents do not require any assistance and have not asked anyone for help. If necessary, we will be the first to inform about it. Wishing health to the little one,” he added.
