The National Assembly Will Be Equipped with New Technology
The head of the staff of the National Assembly of Armenia, Tigran Galstyan, provided details on his Facebook page regarding a discussion that took place in the National Assembly.
“Today we discussed the budget proposal for the National Assembly of Armenia for 2020. I am pleased to note that participants in the discussion shared my vision to significantly increase the National Assembly and staff's capacity with new modern technologies and equipment next year. I would like to point out that currently, the National Assembly is equipped with modern computers at a mere rate of 27%, including this year's acquisitions. Our goal is to increase this to 41.9% next year. Among our objectives is also the strengthening of the server system (we have already received 4 new state-of-the-art servers free of charge). Furthermore, we are negotiating with the South Korean company Koika for the modernization of the voting and servicing system in the meeting hall, which has been installed since 2010. They are willing to provide numerous devices free of charge,” he wrote.
