Police Warns: It Is Prohibited to Transport Children Under 12 in the Front Seat

The Police Chief, General Major Valery Osipyan, has announced that starting from September 1, several divisions of the police have switched to heightened service. Under the "Caution: There Are Children" initiative, traffic police officers, patrol officers, school and minor inspectors, operational staff, and community police are actively deployed around all educational institutions. The aim is clear: to ensure the safety of our citizens.

In this effort, the police also expect our fellow citizens to demonstrate discipline and vigilance. “Dear citizens, the police again urges you to strictly adhere to road traffic and safety regulations, to drive slowly in areas adjacent to schools, and to maintain maximum vigilance. When children are getting into or out of vehicles, please make sure to turn on the hazard lights. We wish you safe travels. Concerned for your safety, the traffic police,” stated the message released by the Police.
