Valery Osipyan Makes New Appointments Across the Police System
In an effort to enhance the effectiveness of the fight against crime and the maintenance of public order, Major General Valery Osipyan, the Chief of Police of Armenia, continues to implement personnel changes and transfers. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, several dozen personnel changes were made today, August 9, by order of the Chief of Police within the ranks of the police system at mid-level positions.
The new appointments have been made within the police departments of Yerevan and regional divisions, the traffic police, police forces, and other units.
Details regarding the changes have not been disclosed.
