Another Hit-and-Run Incident in Yerevan
The Investigative Division of Traffic Accidents of the Road Police is preparing materials regarding a hit-and-run incident that occurred in Yerevan on July 24, reported senior investigator Vardan Babajanyan.
According to Shamshyan.com, around 22:50, a resident of Verin Shenqavit, 26-year-old Hakob Sh., while driving his Mercedes vehicle with license plate 34 DR 594, hit a pedestrian, 50-year-old Vardan S. from the Armavir region, in front of house number 67 on Arshakunyats Avenue.
Sources say the driver did not flee the scene, provided assistance to the pedestrian, called for Yerevan's emergency services at 1-03, and helped ensure that the injured person was transported to the “Erebuni” medical center.
According to reports, the victim V. Sargsyan is employed at “Shin Plus” LLC.
