Arthur Davtyan to Attend March 1 Case Trial
The Prosecutor General of Armenia, Arthur Davtyan, may attend the trial of former officials in the March 1 case as a state prosecutor.
“Everything is possible,” Davtyan stated during a press briefing with journalists in the parliament today.
In response to complaints from Robert Kocharyan’s defense team regarding insufficient time to familiarize themselves with the criminal case, the Prosecutor General noted that they have allowed 50 calendar days, taking into account the experience of the lawyers.
Regarding rumors about his possible resignation, Davtyan asserted that he does not intend to resign.
