Yerevan Mayor's Press Secretary Resigns
The press secretary of the Yerevan Mayor, Artyom Karapetyan, has announced his resignation from the position. “Here it is, finally, I am finishing my work as the press secretary of the mayor,” Karapetyan wrote.
He stated that he does not regret the path he has taken and expressed gratitude to Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan for providing him with the opportunity for valuable experience. According to Karapetyan, during his tenure, he tried to do his utmost to objectively cover the work of the mayor and the city authority, as well as to ensure feedback with the public.
“I have been maximally honest and have tried to instill a civilized culture of public discourse and communication,” he noted. Karapetyan also highly appreciated Tigran Avinyan's work, stating that he personally witnessed the mayor's professionalism and his approaches to advancing the city's development projects.
Speaking about his future plans, Karapetyan mentioned that a new professional phase is beginning for him. “I believe I will be where I am needed. I am ready to enter a new stage of my professional biography with my considerable experience,” he wrote.
