Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President Vahagn Khachaturyan have held a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and the heads of diplomatic representations abroad during their annual working conference.

Participants in the meeting also included National Assembly President Ruben Rubinyan, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Lilith Makunts, Secretary of the Security Council Alen Simonyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan, and other representatives from the legislative and executive branches.

The Prime Minister delivered a speech emphasizing the decision to change the name of the foreign affairs ministry, which will now be called the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. The head of state noted that various countries worldwide have similar experiences, and the primary goal is to incorporate an economic component and functionality into international relations.

In his speech, Nikol Pashinyan addressed the balanced foreign policy implemented by the Government of Armenia, the fundamental directions of foreign policy, steps aimed at economic diversification, the country's priorities in international relations, and upcoming programs.

Following the Prime Minister's speech, discussions took place regarding the agenda of foreign policy issues.
