EAEU Sparks Significant Interest Among Countries Worldwide, Says Overychuk

The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has started to be perceived in a completely new light globally and is generating significant interest among numerous countries. This was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overychuk, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“The EAEU is beginning to be viewed in a completely new way across the world. We are seeing interest from the UN. There is interest from member states of ASEAN and the People's Republic of China. We are conducting negotiations with India, and we have signed an agreement with Indonesia, the largest economy in Southeast Asia,” Overychuk said.

According to the Russian Deputy Prime Minister, all of this indicates the EAEU's commitment to peaceful development in Eurasia. “This all proves that we are striving to make life in Eurasia truly better and of higher quality. And, of course, this applies to Russia as well,” Overychuk stated.
