No Military Cooperation Between Armenia and CSTO: Russian Foreign Ministry
The CSTO is currently not engaging in military, military-technical, and other cooperation with Armenia. This was stated by Mikhail Agasandyan, the Director of the First Department of the CIS Countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry, in an interview with РИА Новости.
According to him, there is currently no cooperation with Armenia within the framework of the CSTO, including in the area of military-technical supplies.
Agasandyan also mentioned that the cooperation between Russia and Armenia continues in a bilateral format. He stated that there is a necessary legal framework that also provides for the supply of military-purpose products under preferential conditions.
