US Issues Stiff Ultimatum to Iran Supporters: Sanctions Expand

Starting today, we are intensifying our pressure and closing all potential sources of income that fund the IRGC and the Iranian regime, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Basset announced.

"As part of increasing pressure on Iran, the Americans are imposing sanctions on more than 60 organizations, individuals, and courts. Any country and any enterprise that supports Iran should be prepared for U.S. sanctions within the framework of economic actions against Tehran. Countries supporting Iran will be forced to exit the dollar system. Starting today, the actions of the Treasury Department and other agencies will tighten the noose and block every potential source of income that finances the IRGC and the Iranian rogue regime. We will ensure an approach that eliminates any loopholes," said U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Basset.
