Arman Tsarukyan Changes His Sports Nickname

Arman Tsarukyan, who will return to the octagon in a month, will officially compete under a new nickname, as announced by Bruce Buffer. Previously known as 'Akhaltsikhe', Tsarukyan shared his decision in an interview with sports commentator Ariel Helvani.

"I have changed my nickname. Akhaltsikhe referred to the place where I was born. But fans have always called me Batman, so now I will simply be Batman," Tsarukyan stated.

The 29-year-old athlete's next fight is scheduled for September 19 in Los Angeles as part of UFC 331. In the co-main event, his opponent will be Brazilian Mauricio Rufin, who is stepping in for his compatriot Charles Oliveira, who has pulled out of the event.
