Grassland and Tire Vulcanization Site Burned in Yerevan
On August 20, at 19:19, the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report about a grassland area burning near one of the addresses on Ashtarak Highway in Yerevan.
Four fire brigades from the Yerevan firefighting department, along with response teams from the Division for Organizing Firefighting and Rescue Operations and the Psychological Support and Medical Provision Division, promptly arrived at the scene.
According to preliminary information, approximately 2 hectares of grassland and a tire vulcanization site using used tires were on fire. The fire was contained by 20:12.
