New Rules May Be Established for Extreme Tourism Transport, Says Tourism Committee
On August 17, a meeting was held initiated by the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, with representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, and the Ministry of Environment, as well as providers of extreme tourism services. The committee reports.
During the meeting, issues related to the regulation of extreme tourism services, specifically off-road transport services, were discussed. As a result of the meeting, it was decided to present a series of proposals to the Prime Minister's office regarding the registration of transport vehicles and the development of clear routes for them.
