Defense Ministry Spokesperson on Destroyed Military Equipment

The spokesperson of the Republic of Armenia's Ministry of Defense, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, has addressed the issue of the destroyed military equipment of the Armenian Armed Forces through a post on his Facebook page. Below is the post:

“On the destroyed military equipment of the Armenian Armed Forces.

These are vehicles that have been out of operation for a long time, about a decade, and all necessary and usable components have been removed from them. If they can be used, they are being utilized.

This destruction is very important for us in terms of saving resources and optimal use.

The destruction will allow us to acquire other resources.

This is within the framework of Armenia's international obligations, and the process has been ongoing for a long time,” he wrote.
