«Честный знак» has blocked the sale of more than 70,000 bottles of drinking water and carbonated beverages imported from Armenia on the instruction of Rospotrebnadzor. This was reported to Vedomosti by the company's press service.

The ban applies to certain batches of "Bjni" mineral medicinal-table water, "Prosto Azbuka" natural drinking water (including children's) and "Mojito" non-alcoholic carbonated beverages.

Currently, Rospotrebnadzor has prohibited the sale of these batches in retail and online stores until all necessary checks are completed. The marking system is integrated with every cash register in the country, allowing for instant consumer protection mechanisms, noted Revaz Yusupov, Deputy General Director of the Center for Advanced Technology Development (ЦРПТ).

Yusupov added that since the beginning of 2026, «Честный знак» has prevented the sale of 48 million bottles of drinking water for violations of expiration dates and mandatory requirements.

The reason for the ban was the potential harm to the life and health of Russian citizens. According to a press service representative, producers violated required standards for the products. However, the ban only relates to certain batches produced on specific dates and does not extend to the remaining products.

On April 28, «Честный знак» blocked the sale of "Jermuk" carbonated water supplied from Armenia on the instruction of Rospotrebnadzor. Yusupov reported that 338,000 bottles were in circulation. Rospotrebnadzor explained their demand by citing the necessity of immediate measures to prevent any potential harm to the life and health of Russian citizens.
