The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, does not rule out that the range of trade goods between Baku and Yerevan could expand.

This was reported by TASS, citing a statement made by Bayramov during a press conference with the current OSCE Chairperson, Ignacio Cassis.

“This year, we have already witnessed the supply of oil products from Azerbaijan to Armenia. It is possible that in future phases, we may see an expansion of the mutual trade range,” said Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister.

He noted that in less than a year, about 60,000 tons of cargo have been transported through Azerbaijan to Armenia and vice versa. He also detailed that the volume of oil products sold by Azerbaijan to Armenia amounted to around 20,000 tons.

“I am confident that we will see continuous work in this direction,” emphasized Bayramov.

Azerbaijan lifted the ban on the transit of cargo to Armenia through its territory at the end of October last year, and in December began supplying oil products to Armenia.
