Online Application Process for High School Admissions Begins on August 4

Starting from August 4 at 09:00, the second, main phase of the online application process for admission to the 10th grade of public high schools in Armenia will commence. This was announced by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.

The application process for the second phase will be conducted on a general basis for Armenian-taught classes, including for foreign citizens, dual citizens, and stateless individuals (their legal representatives). Applications will also be accepted for students whose one parent belongs to any of the specified categories, while the other is a citizen of Armenia. The system is open to children belonging to national minorities whose parents wish to enroll them in Armenian-taught classes.

For twins, triplets, quadruplets, or more, the application of at least one child to any general education institution ensures the admission of the other children to the same institution, regardless of the number of places licensed.

The online application will be conducted in two steps:

Step 1 – Log in to https://my.emis.am and open your user page. Detailed steps for opening the page are provided in the "Registration my.emis.am" video guide.

Step 2 – If you have already completed identification and have your page on the https://my.emis.am platform, wait for the application start to choose the school. The application steps are outlined in the "High School Enrollment" video guide.

Considering that registration is time-consuming, we again encourage you to register and complete identification in the system before the application starts, after which it will be possible to enroll your child in your preferred school.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that it is not possible to access the system from different devices with the same account and enroll your child, therefore, we recommend that applications be submitted from one account and one computer.

We remind you that from July 20 to August 2, the online application for students with priority, siblings studying at the same school, as well as children of the school staff, has been conducted, which has now concluded.

On August 11, starting at 09:00, enrollment will also be available for classes taught in Russian at the discretion of the parents. Applications for classes taught in Russian can be submitted by foreign citizens, dual citizens, stateless persons (their legal representatives), individuals belonging to national minorities, as well as students whose at least one parent is a citizen of the Republic of Armenia.

There is no need to apply for schools where admission will be conducted according to established internal procedures, particularly in specialized schools, schools operating under higher education institutions, general education schools' "Artificial Intelligence" generation classes, as well as in secondary schools or gymnasiums where students will be transferred to the third stage of education in the same educational institution, in accordance with the parent's application.
