Jared Leto Denies Sexual Assault Allegations

Actor and musician Jared Leto has denied allegations of criminal sexual conduct made by four women. According to the claims presented, the alleged incidents occurred when the women were still in their teenage years. BBC reports that the events are said to have taken place between 2002 and 200216, when the actor was between the ages of 30 and 40. He is now 54 years old.

One of the women's allegations states that the Oscar-winning actor assaulted her in a hotel bathroom when she was 17 years old. Another woman reported that at the age of 19, Leto threatened her with sexual violence when they unexpectedly found themselves alone in a hotel room.

Despite numerous attempts to reach out to the actor for comment, he has not responded to the allegations directed at him. Hours after the release of a documentary, Leto's representative issued a statement on his behalf: "I have never committed sexual violence against anyone in my entire life. These claims are absolutely and unequivocally false."
