122 Million 556 Thousand Drams Recovered in Ararat Province, 42 Criminal Cases Submitted to Court for Serious and Particularly Serious Crimes

In Ararat Province, during the first half of 2026, the amount recovered for the protection of state and community interests through final court rulings amounted to 70 million 626 thousand drams, according to the Prosecutor's Office.

Through criminal proceedings and the application of prosecutorial measures, the amount recovered for damages caused to the state, community, and organizations with state and community participation was 51 million 930 thousand drams.

Specifically, during the first half of 2026, as a result of prosecutorial intervention, a plot of land measuring 1,280 square meters located at 36/5 Shahumyan Street, a plot of land measuring 2,100 square meters located at 6 Aigi Street, and a plot of land measuring 591 square meters located at 1/1 Aigi Street were returned to the Ararat community. The total cadastral value of these plots, approximately aligned with market value, is 7 million 455 thousand drams.

During the first half of 2026, the Ararat Province Prosecutor's Office submitted 32 criminal cases to the court with indictments for serious crimes and 10 criminal cases for particularly serious crimes. A total of 19 indictments have entered into legal force for serious crimes, while 2 indictments have done so for particularly serious crimes.
