The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia has announced that it has responded to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement regarding Liparit Drmeyan.

The Prosecutor's Office has indicated that this pertains to the Prime Minister's remarks made today concerning the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA). According to information from NEWS.am, this relates to Liparit Drmeyan, the former head of the Office of the Representative for International Legal Issues, who is currently a member of the 'Wings of Unity' party.

Previously, Nikol Pashinyan publicly stated that law enforcement should investigate Drmeyan's activities as well as check his accounts and property. The Prime Minister emphasized the need to determine whether he has transferred information pertinent to the media and political spheres, or documents that contradict the government's position stating that the government had lost in arbitration.

It is worth recalling that in August 2025, Pashinyan announced that the government would not comply with the urgent decision from the Stockholm arbitration prohibiting the confiscation of the Electric Networks of Armenia. He also mentioned that government members cannot hold views contrary to his position, adding, 'I am the government…'

One day after Pashinyan's statement, Liparit Drmeyan submitted his resignation.
