Who are the victims of the fire in a house in Masis? Details
According to NEWS.am, two individuals who died in a fire that broke out in one of the houses in the city of Masis the day before were citizens of India. They were living in a dormitory rented out by the owner of a nearby shop, where the fire originated.
Residents of the neighborhood reported to the news outlet's correspondent that around a dozen Indians were renting the house and were employed as laborers in the shop. The shop owner is also the owner of the dormitory.
Currently, the entrance to the house is sealed off, and the shop is closed.
The Investigative Committee informed Auroranews that a criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 412 of the Criminal Code (circulation of raw materials or products that do not meet safety requirements, performance of works or provision of services that negligently resulted in a person's death).
