Search Warrant Executed at Home of Citizen Who Insulted Pashinyan, Lawyer Says
Law enforcement officials are currently executing a search warrant at the home of Artak Avetisyan, the citizen who called Prime Minister Pashinyan a traitor during a campaign rally in Shengavit two days ago. This was reported by his lawyer, Ruben Melikyan, in a conversation with NEWS.am.
When asked if charges had been brought against Avetisyan and what restrictive measures had been applied, the lawyer responded, “No restrictive measures have been chosen yet; they are preparing a motion. I believe charges have already been filed. I have not yet contacted the investigators, so I do not know under what article the charges have been filed. I will provide more details in a live broadcast later,” said the lawyer.
It should be noted that one person has been arrested and taken to the Shengavit Community Police Department on suspicion of inciting hatred, discrimination, intolerance, or enmity, as well as disseminating materials or objects with such intent.
