Prosecutor's Office Demands Seizure of 237 Million Drams from Arghvan Hovsepyan's Brother
The Anti-Corruption Court has accepted the jurisdiction of another claim by the Prosecutor General's Office regarding the seizure of property of illegal origin.
The Property Seizure Division of the Prosecutor General's Office has presented a demand to the court to seize in favor of the Republic of Armenia from Ruben Garnik Hovsepyan, former head of the Ajapnyak administrative district of Yerevan and former member of the National Assembly, and from affiliated persons three real estate properties—two of which are located in Yerevan and one in the Artashavan community of Ashtarak, as well as one vehicle and participation in one legal entity, amounting to 236 million 827 thousand drams as a remainder of illegal monetary assets.
