Case of Violence Against 13-Year-Old Boy Uncovered
The community police have uncovered a case of violence against a 13-year-old boy. A referral has been sent to the Minister of Education from the Minister of Internal Affairs.
On May 11, information was received at the Community Police Department in Ashtarak that a 13-year-old minor was being subjected to regular violence by classmates at one of the schools in the Kharbi community. Neither the educational institution nor the minor's parents had reported the incident to the police.
According to the community police of Ashtarak, it became clear that on April 17, there was a scuffle between the minor and his classmates, which was intervened by other classmates who later informed the homeroom teacher.
On May 11, the minor's mother was summoned to the Community Police Department in Ashtarak, where she reported that during the scuffle, her son had been struck on the head, causing him to faint and requiring medical assistance at the Kharbi ambulance station, followed by the Saint Astvatsamayr Medical Center.
The community police have identified the individuals involved in the altercation through the measures they implemented. A referral regarding the incident has been submitted to the Minister of Education from the Minister of Internal Affairs, and the prepared documents have been sent to the Aragatson Investigation Department.
