Orbán Makes Final Confession Before Departure
Before his departure, Viktor Orbán made a confession, noting that the main reasons for their failure were the war and Brussels' negative attitude. According to him, it was these factors that led to the slowing of economic growth.
Orbán emphasized that if it had been possible to ensure a 2-3% economic growth, they could have won the elections, but that did not happen. He also added that economic activation has only become visible in the current quarter.
“If it weren’t for the war and Brussels’ negative response, if economic growth hadn’t slowed because of that, and if we could achieve a 2-3% economic growth, we could have won the elections, but that did not happen. The growth has only become visible now—this quarter,” stated Orbán.
