Officials Dismissed in High-Profile Sexual Violence Case
In Vedi, officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been dismissed in connection with a sexual violence case involving minors, announced MIA spokesperson Narek Sargsyan.
"The head of the Ararat regional department of the Criminal Police, Colonel Saribek Rustamyan, and the head of the Vedi community police department, Lieutenant Colonel Armen Mkrtchyan, have been relieved of their duties," he stated.
