VOTING BRIBERY: Allegations of Electoral Corruption by the 'Strong Armenia' Party
The RA Anti-Corruption Committee has obtained factual data as a result of operatively investigative measures, revealing that a group of individuals acting on behalf of the 'Strong Armenia' party has been distributing electoral bribes with the condition that citizens vote for this party during the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7, 2026. This information was reported by the Anti-Corruption Committee.
Additionally, it has been established that an individual representing the 'Strong Armenia' party violated the ban on charitable activities during the election period in accordance with the applicable presidential decree designating the parliamentary elections, and there are reports of offering material incentives to citizens to participate in rallies.
A criminal case has been initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, several searches have been conducted, and five individuals have been arrested.
