No Complaints Regarding Russian Exports, Says Edward Hakobyan
Currently, there are no complaints from entrepreneurs regarding Russian exports. This was stated by the head of the State Revenue Committee, Edward Hakobyan, during a press briefing with journalists at the National Assembly.
In response to a question about reports in the media claiming that entrepreneurs operating in Armenia are facing issues related to Russian exports, Hakobyan replied, "What is being discussed is not a new phenomenon. We regularly encounter such situations. For instance, last year there were certain issues related to various products. Specifically, when crossing Lars, products must meet certain phytosanitary requirements, and these requirements sometimes become stricter or are relaxed. Our advice is for our entrepreneurs to adhere to these requirements."
In response to circulating rumors that the export of products from the 'Proshyan Brandy Factory' LLC has been banned, Hakobyan stated that this is the first time he has heard such information and that he needs to look into it further. When asked whether there are any political motives behind these issues, Hakobyan replied, "I will not get involved in political motives, but it is natural that certain changes are occurring in the world regarding the policies of specific countries. If Russian regulatory bodies receive certain directives and need to implement periodic stricter measures, our entrepreneurs must also comply with the rules, as this allows the state to stand behind them in such situations. Because when a situation arises and the entrepreneur is at fault, it becomes very difficult to negotiate with our partners and find a solution."
