“In Ashtarak, we were asked what Samvel Karapetian did during the 44-day war. The very raising of this question shows that we are mistaken for not telling, for not presenting what Samvel Karapetian did for the defense of the Republic of Armenia during the 44-day war,” said Narek Karapetian, a member of the 'Strong Armenia' party, in a video posted on social media.

“We can refer to the then Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan and ask if there is any individual who provided more support to the defense of the Republic of Armenia than Samvel Karapetian, is there any individual who helped the defense systems and the state during the 44-day war more than Samvel Karapetian,” he added.
