The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, stated that the decision regarding the ownership of Nagorno-Karabakh was made by Yerevan, and Moscow is not involved in it. "The only thing that President Putin and Russia want is that there are no unnecessary references when discussing this issue," said the presidential press secretary.
It was also noted that during a meeting held at the Kremlin, Prime Minister Pashinyan stated that Armenia recognized Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan after Putin and senior Russian officials declared twice that they recognize Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan.
