Several Foreign Channels Removed from YouTube
The YouTube platform has removed several channels belonging to state media from Belarus. This was reported by the country’s Ministry of Information, noting that this includes the official pages of the "Belta" agency, as well as ONT and STV television channels.
According to the ministry, the removal was carried out by the platform owned by American company Google, but no details were provided regarding the reasons. It was also emphasized that the "Belta" news agency is not on the list of international sanctions.
The ministry also warned users about potential fake pages, indicating that if similarly named channels appear, they may be copies and such sources should not be trusted.
In turn, "Belta" stated that the removal of the channels may be related to sanctions, but Google has not provided an official clarification.
