David Minasyan is in the Intensive Care Unit, Lawyer Says

18-year-old David Minasyan is currently in the Intensive Care Unit of the Nairi Medical Center, lawyer Lusine Martirosyan reports.

Martirosyan previously stated that Minasyan was transferred to Nairi Medical Center due to suffocation, and his nails have started turning black.

“Yesterday afternoon, defender Elbakyan visited David and noticed that he was not feeling well, complaining of headaches and suffocation. We visited again late in the evening, and he still had complaints. This morning we were informed that he was transferred to Abovyan Penitentiary. According to the information we received, they supposedly want to resolve educational issues, but this is after we have been alerting them for two days to transfer him to a hospital, as his condition is not good,” she mentioned.

“His health deteriorated at Abovyan Penitentiary, and he was transferred to the Abovyan Medical Center, from where he was taken to Nairi Medical Center. I have noted that David's nails have started turning black; he is being taken to Nairi Medical Center because he has undergone surgeries there, as well as recent examinations and inpatient treatment,” she added.

Earlier, we reported that David Minasyan was to be transferred from the Armavir Penitentiary to the Abovyan Penitentiary.
