One of the Arrested Brothers Released
As a result of the incident at the St. Anna Church, the preventive measures applied to Gevorg Gevorgyan and Mikael Minasyan include a restriction on absence and bail, according to the Investigative Committee.
Lawyer Varduhi Elbakyan has reported that the investigative actions regarding the other brother, David, are ongoing. A motion for his detention has been assigned to Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan of the Yerevan City Court of First Instance, Criminal Court of Appeal.
This information was provided by the Yerevan Criminal Court in response to a query from 24News.
It is indicated that charges have been filed in all cases; however, no additional details have been provided due to the confidentiality of the investigation.
Recall that on March 29, a public criminal prosecution was initiated against David Minasyan in connection with the incident at the St. Anna Church under Article 297, Part 1 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism) and Article 452, Part 3 (interference in the legal service or political activities of a public official).
Mikael Minasyan has been charged under Article 46-297, Part 1 (aiding hooliganism) and Article 46-452, Part 3 (aiding interference in the legal service or political activities of a public official).
