Khudatyan on Solar Power Plants Produced in Armenia
In 2025, 14% of the electricity produced in Armenia will come from solar power plants. This was stated by Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan in a video posted on his Facebook page.
“Currently, more than 1150 megawatts of installed capacity solar power plants are connected to Armenia's energy system. This is about 150 megawatts more than the target figure set for 2030, and this number continues to grow. The increase compared to 2024 is more than 45 percent. To give you an idea of the significance of this figure, I should mention that about 14 percent of Armenia's total production was generated by solar power plants last year,” said Minister Khudatyan. More details are available in the video.
