Turkey's Airspace Violation Will Never Be Justified: Erdogan
The presidents of Iran and Turkey have had a phone conversation. Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Ankara considers the military operations against Iran illegal, but also condemned Tehran's attacks on regional countries.
“Turkey's airspace violation can never be justified. Ankara will take self-defense measures,” Erdogan added.
Masoud Pezeshkian assured that the missiles that entered Turkish airspace were not launched from Iran and promised that the Iranian side would conduct an investigation.
Erdogan, for his part, expressed readiness to assist in de-escalation efforts.
