Murder Incident on March 8: Dispute With a Friend Ends in Stabbing and Flight

The investigative department of the Criminal Investigation Committee of Armenia has revealed a murder case that occurred on March 8, 2026, in the Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district.

During the investigation, it was established that the victim had a dispute with a friend, A.S., in the building area of the Kanaker-Zeytun district. During the argument, A.S. stabbed the victim twice with a knife in the back and abdomen, killing him, and then fled the scene.

A public criminal prosecution has been initiated against A.S. under Article 155, Part 1 of the Criminal Code (murder). A.S. was arrested on March 9, 2026, shortly after the alleged murder and has since been detained.
