Snow in Several Regions of Armenia: Road Conditions Update
As of 10:10 AM on March 7, all interstate and republican highways in Armenia are open. Organizations responsible for road maintenance continue to clear the highways and treat them with salt and sand.
The Ttujur-Navur highway is closed to all types of vehicles. The Vardenyats Pass and the section from the Jermuk junction to Noravan are closed to vehicles with trailers. The Spitak bends, as well as the Jajur and Keti passes, are difficult to navigate for vehicles with trailers.
Snow is falling in the regions of Ani, Artik, Aparan, Aragats, Spitak, Vanadzor, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Sevan, Gavar, Martuni, Chambarak, Dilijan, Ararat, Yeghegnadzor, Vayk, and Sisian. Dear drivers, we urge you to be cautious and strictly adhere to traffic rules, using winter tires exclusively.
