Personnel Changes in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Police
Personnel changes have taken place in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Police Department, according to a statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the orders of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel Vardan Vardanyan, the Chief of the Criminal Police Department of the RA Police, has been relieved of his duties. Colonel Arthur Barskeyan has been appointed to the same position.
Colonel Karen Hakobyan, the Chief of the Community Police Department of the RA Police, has also been dismissed. Colonel Karen Khachatryan has been appointed as the acting Chief of the Community Police Department.
Colonel Arthur Khudinyan, the Chief of the Patrol Service of the RA Police, has been relieved of his duties as well. Captain Gevorg Zakaryan has been appointed to the same position.
Furthermore, by other orders of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Vardan Vardanyan has been appointed as an adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Karen Hakobyan has also been appointed as an adviser, and Arthur Khudinyan has been appointed as an assistant to the Minister.
