Rubio to Discuss Suspension of Energy Imports from Russia with Hungary and Slovakia
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has announced plans to discuss the cessation of Russian energy imports with the authorities of Hungary and Slovakia.
“Well, we will talk to them about that. We will discuss what needs to happen,” he told reporters in response to a question before heading to Europe for the Munich Security Conference.
“Yes, I will not elaborate on what we will discuss in these meetings. But, first and foremost, these are the countries that have strongly supported us, actively cooperated with the United States, and closely collaborated with us,” the U.S. Secretary of State added.
