2% Cashback on Daily Expenses through ‘ArKa’ Card to be Available Starting February 2026
The cashback for physical persons through the ‘ArKa’ payment system (2%) will be calculated and paid starting from February 2026 until January 2027, as decided in today’s government meeting.
Beneficiaries will receive the cashback every month. The cashback amount for each month is calculated based on 2% of non-cash payments made for goods and services in the month preceding the payment month, and is transferred to the bank account from which the non-cash purchases and payments were made.
Beneficiaries will receive cashback for transactions exceeding 1,000 AMD. The cashback paid to beneficiaries for each transaction cannot exceed 6,000 AMD. Moreover, the total cashback for each reporting month cannot exceed 60,000 AMD.
Fifty percent of the total cashback amount will be paid from the state budget, while the remaining 50% will be financed by Armenia Card LLC.
Cashback will not be generated from the following transactions:
- Payments for information, communication, and utility services,
- Payments made for the benefit of the state budget and municipalities of Armenia,
- Transactions made at high-risk sales points (including services related to “adult content”, “dating websites and platforms”, “casinos and gambling services”, “crypto exchanges, crypto wallets and other crypto services”, “digital file storage and remote access services”, “gambling games”, “high-risk financial trading platforms”, “telemarketing services”, “automatically renewing subscriptions”, and “transactions involving precious metals and stones”, except for pharmacies),
- Any payments and transactions collected for the benefit of financial institutions for services provided by financial organizations,
- Transactions made with ArKa gift and one-time usage cards,
- Refunds, compensations, and reimbursements received.
Furthermore, previously paid cashbacks for transactions on the basis of returns, compensations, and refunds will be deducted from the cashbacks payable in the current month.
