Vahan Kostanyan Responds to Azerbaijan's Complaints
Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan stated after a government meeting that there is no need to revise the strategic document between Armenia and the EU. "This document essentially reflects the agenda that we have between Armenia and the EU, and our EU partners are providing considerable support in that direction," he said.
Kostanyan emphasized that August 8 was a significant milestone in Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, but there are still issues that need further discussion.
It is noteworthy that Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry claimed that the Armenia-EU strategic document contradicts the peace process between the two countries. Baku particularly expressed dissatisfaction regarding the wording used in the document, which referred to "Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh who became refugees after Azerbaijan's military operations."
